SAMPLE POST

First grader praying for Peace and an end to gun violence
Jack was born into an era where school gun violence is a sad reality and shooter drills are just part of his little life. Remembering Uvalde and so much more. May it end through Jack’s sweet prayers - for his brother Ben and his cousin Eliza and all the innocents. Submitted by his photographer mother who was a first grade teacher when the Sandy  Hook massacre occurred and his grandmother, Mema T.

All snapshots will be printed and used to create a collaborative art piece that will hang at Metro Art Studios. Watch the work in process both online and in person through March 16.

Let’s instigate change and get in the sight-line of a nation that is suffering from gun violence.

Let’s use visual storytelling to summon, engage, challenge, provoke and heal.

Let’s explore where we can find common ground and hope.
